Grady McDonnell | Founder & Director of Content Production
Grady is one of two directors currently at Shoplifters. While his professional and academic background is in clinic-focused psychology, Grady has a storied history in acting, comedy writing, and both film and theatre production.
He has led the ensemble on camera in every Shoplifters project thus far. Though he appears as himself in several projects, Grady prefers character-acting.

Max Alexander | Founder & Director of Social Media and Branding
Max is one of two directors currently at Shoplifters. He has a background in media studies, audience reception, and organizational communication.
He frequently appears on camera for Shoplifters-related projects and works as Shoplifters’ lead photo and video editor for films, social media content, and our website.
Max uses he/him/his pronouns.
André Cecilio | Creative Production Lead & Producer
Born and raised in Brazil, André Cecilio is a 23-year-old filmmaker and writer. He graduated from Depaul University, where he studied Film and TV with a minor in Experimental Filmmaking. As an artist, André seeks to explore feelings of anxiety, alienation, and loneliness through a non-linear and impressionistic lens.
André uses he/him/his pronouns.
Audrey Pauer | Art and Design Lead & Producer
Audrey works as our in-house graphic designer, and is a key cast member on-screen. She has a background in enviormental science, but has incorporated a myriad of talents in the arts.
She is one of the few people who has appeared in every Shoplifters production to date, and is the creator of our company logo.
Audrey uses she/her/hers pronouns.
Griffin McDonnell | Financial Operator & Producer
Griffin manages our finances and assits in behind the scenes production of our many projects. He frequently acts in Shoplifters productions.
His background in comedy at Second City, animation and drawing, as well as his experience in marketing have lead him to become a key member to our company.
Griffin uses he/him/his pronouns.
Kesse Alexander | SHOPLIFTED Editor & Producer
Kesse is the lead editor of our digital zine SHOPLIFTED, and assits as a producer in our film productions. She has a background in English studies and a substantial experince in narrative writing.
While she has appeared on camera, she most often assits behind the scenes.
Kesse uses she/her/hers pronouns.
